How we handle copyright infringement reports for content hosted on our network.
Our position
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our customers to do the same. Hosting content that infringes someone else's copyright is a violation of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Filing a copyright complaint
If you believe content hosted on our network infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our abuse contact including: identification of the copyrighted work, the exact URL(s) of the infringing material, your contact details, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and a statement — under penalty of perjury — that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
Incomplete notices may be rejected. We do not act on complaints submitted by automated tools without a verifiable contact.
What happens next
Valid notices are forwarded to the customer, who has 48 hours to remove the material or file a counter-notice. If no action is taken, we may disable access to the reported content. Repeat infringers have their services suspended or terminated.
Counter-notices
If your content was disabled and you believe the complaint is mistaken, you may file a counter-notice with the same identification requirements. We restore content when a counter-notice is valid and the complainant does not pursue the matter further within 14 days.
